Netraom Freeware Licence Agreement

Netraom is a product of Asia Vision Pacific Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us"). This agreement is between you and us. By installing or using Netraom you accept it; if you do not accept it, do not install or use Netraom. 1. THE SOFTWARE "Netraom" means the Netraom media player program in object-code form, its documentation, artwork and updates we provide, excluding the third-party components described in section 6. 2. LICENCE GRANT - FREE OF CHARGE We grant you a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, without any fee or royalty, to download, install and use Netraom on any number of devices you own or control, for personal use and for use within your organisation, for any lawful purpose. 3. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO Except as allowed in sections 5 and 6 or by applicable law, you may not: a) sell, rent, lease or sublicense Netraom, or charge any fee for it; b) distribute copies of Netraom, publish it for others to download, or include it in another product, without our written permission (you may freely share a link to our official download page, https://estoriz.shop/netraom); c) modify, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer Netraom, or create derivative works; d) remove or alter any copyright, trademark or licence notices, or the digital signatures of the files; e) use the Netraom name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product. 4. OWNERSHIP Netraom is licensed, not sold. We (or our licensors) keep all rights, title and interest in Netraom, including copyright and trademarks, except the rights expressly granted to you in this agreement. 5. OPEN-SOURCE LIBRARIES YOU MAY REPLACE Netraom uses certain libraries licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), including FFmpeg and GNU FriBidi, as separate files (DLLs). Nothing in this agreement prevents you from replacing those library files with modified or other compatible versions, and you may reverse engineer Netraom to the extent necessary to debug such modifications, as those licences permit. The source code of these libraries is available at https://estoriz.shop/netraom/open-source for at least three years. 6. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS Netraom includes third-party components that are licensed to you under their own licences, listed in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md and reproduced in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt, which accompany Netraom. Those licences govern the respective components; nothing in this agreement limits the rights they grant you. 7. PRIVACY Netraom works on your device. It does not collect personal data, has no telemetry and needs no account. It connects to the internet only when you ask it to: to play a network stream you open, to download an optional AI model after you confirm (from the provider named in the app), or to open a web page you choose. Your media, library and settings stay on your device. 8. DONATIONS Netraom is free. Donations you choose to make through our website are voluntary gifts to support its development; they do not purchase a licence, features, support or any other benefit. 9. UPDATES AND SUPPORT We may, but do not have to, provide updates or support. Updates are covered by this agreement unless they come with a different licence. 10. NO WARRANTY NETRAOM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT IT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR USE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO NETRAOM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. BECAUSE NETRAOM IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO INR 1,000 (OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT PERMITTED BY LAW, IF HIGHER). Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. 12. MEDIA YOU PLAY You are responsible for having the right to play, copy or convert the media you use with Netraom. 13. TERMINATION This licence ends automatically if you breach it. You may end it at any time by uninstalling Netraom. On termination you must stop using Netraom and delete all copies. Sections 4, 6, 10, 11 and 14 survive. 14. GOVERNING LAW This agreement is governed by the laws of India. The courts of Rajasthan, India, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory rights to other courts or laws. 15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT This agreement, together with the third-party licences in section 6, is the entire agreement about Netraom between you and us.
