The story

A warrior, a kingdom, and one word at a time

A Rajput warrior rides out to defend his kingdom. Ambushes in mountain passes, pirate ships, burning cities, river demons and dacoit camps stand in his way, and each battle is built around one English word.

He explains the word before the fight, lives it during the fight, and proudly says it after the victory. By the end of Phase 1 he has 60 new words, and so do you.

Meet the word
The warrior tells you what the word means, in English and Hindi, with a trick to remember it.
Fight for it
Sword fights, chases and puzzles, all about that word. Under five minutes.
Answer one question
Show that you know the word. A wrong answer teaches you the right one.
Open the next level
Win and answer to move on. New words, new places, new enemies.

Heroic action, real English

Every word is a battle

Each level is built around one English word: ABACK is an ambush, ABLAZE a burning city, ABYSS a fight at the edge of a chasm. Win the battle and the word stays with you.

English and Hindi

Before the fight the warrior explains the word in English and Hindi, with a memory trick for each one (A + BACK = taken aback!).

Prove you know it

After the victory, answer one question about the word to open the next level.

60 levels in Phase 1

From ABACK to ACADEMY: mountain passes, pirate seas, Rajasthani old cities, river demons, dacoit camps, wild horses and royal palaces.

Five minutes a level

Every level ends within five minutes: just right for a short break.

Finish Phase 1, sit the Academy’s final test and receive your own Word Warrior certificate, signed and dated, to save as a picture or PDF and share.

Daily Word

One new word every day. Keep your streak going.

What you should know before you play.

Read the privacy policy

For players aged 13 or older: it has sword fights and some blood.
No account or sign-up needed. Your progress stays on your phone.
No ads between levels, ever. An ad plays only when you choose one: to rise again after a defeat, for a quiz hint or for double gold.
Lives come back by themselves over time. The first 10 levels need no lives at all.
Purchases (lives, a Starter Pack, the monthly Warrior Pass) are optional and handled by Google Play and the App Store.
